About
Kent House Medic
Jim
Haskell the proprietor of Kent House Medic, served 29
years as a police constable with Kent
Police, based in Swale, mainly
at Sittingbourne,
Faversham and Sheerness police stations.
Having retired from the police, in September 2007, James looked for
a new direction for his life, and having fully renovated two houses
in the past, and helped friends and colleagues update their houses decided
to turn his hobby into a business, providing a professional handyman
service.
Jim prefers to call himself a multi-skilled person rather than a handyman
as he has taken the trouble to get himself trained.
This is also shown in his Public Liability Insurance, where he is shown
as a builder, due to the number of services he provides.
Jim
has attended courses at
Able Skills Dartford, where took courses to become
a Domestic Electric Installer (City & Guilds 2382), PAT tester,
and other courses in Plumbing and Brick laying. Other building skills
he has picked up during years of renovating houses.
